Here’s What You Need to Know

November 1st is the deadline to enroll in Lumia coach training before the price increases.

There will never be a more affordable time to complete your coach training with Lumia. The version of the program we offer now is being phased out. We are updating the program in 2023, but you can get on the path to become a credentialed coach if you act now at a much lower price.

What’s changing?
+

The Lumia program is accredited by an outside organization, the International Coaching Federation (ICF)*. We adhere to their standards and ethics to maintain a higher level of education for training coaches.

The ICF recently decided to change the way it accredits coach training programs, and roll out a Level 2 credentialing path, which means we need to make some changes too.

Wondering more about the ICF?
+

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is a non-profit, professional organization. Their mission is to support coaches and promote coaching as a profession. It’s the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners.

Getting an ICF credential is a way of showing legitimacy and higher education as a professional coach. Corporations that hire full-time coaches typically require an ICF credential for employment.

There are three levels of ICF credentialing:
ACC – Associate Certified Coach
PCC – Professional Certified Coach
MCC – Master Certified Coach

Why is Lumia switching to Level 2? What does that mean?
+

With the new requirements from the ICF, in order to continue to be accredited in 2023, we had to make changes and are updating our Signature Program to become a Level 2 accredited* coach training path.

In 2023, thanks to our updates, we will be able to offer the coach training for both ACC AND PCC Credentials under the new Level 2 Signature pathway.

Is the Level 2 Signature Program better?
+

No. Level 2 Signature is not better than our current Legacy Signature program, it’s just different.

The current Legacy Signature program will still give you the education and support to get your credential and start your coaching practice. AND it’s the lowest price it will ever be!

Deciding which path is for you depends on your specific coaching goals. We encourage you to book a call with our Admissions team to gain clarity on which one is the best path for you.

If I enroll in the current Legacy Signature Program will my credential still be valid later on?
+

Yes! As long as you enroll by November 1st and begin one of our 2022 cohorts, you will be acknowledged as a student of coaching and eligible for an ACC Credential. Again, it will never be more affordable to become credentialed than right now.

What is the cost difference?
+

The Legacy Signature Program is $5,995.
The Level 2 Signature Program will be $8,995.

If your goal is to become a credentialed coach, the Legacy Signature Program is the BEST price for coach training so you start on the path to get your ACC credentialing with the ICF.

Enroll by November 1st & save $3,000 by signing up now!

Are there payment plans available?
+

What’s your refund policy?
+

For those enrolling in the Level 2 Signature Program before December 31, the deadline for a refund is January 31, 2023 for any cohort starting February 2023 or later.

Please note there is a $500 nonrefundable deposit included in your tuition for enrollment. This fee covers non-refundable costs incurred by Lumia, and will stay on file in your account even if you withdraw from the program. If you return to the program at a later date, the deposit will be taken out of your new cost.

Is there an option to add on Level 2 later?
+

There is an option for students to enroll in the Essentials Track now and add on the Level 2 program later, but it will cost significantly more. It would also require you to retake several classes in order to meet the new requirements for credentialing from the ICF, and therefore may extend your coach training program timeline.

We are here to help you on your coaching journey, and hope this was helpful in making the right decision for you when it comes to coach training.

If you are ready to enroll, we have limited seats available in the last few cohorts of the year for our Legacy Signature Program. As a final reminder, this program is the most affordable option for you to get your ICF credential.

Starting November 1st, you will no longer be able to enroll in the Legacy Signature Program. We will begin filling Level 2 Signature cohorts to begin in January 2023 and beyond.

If you have questions or need to talk through the options, we encourage you to book a call with our admission’s team to discuss your coaching goals and gain clarity on which program is right for you.
