Common questions

Is Lumia accredited?

Yes. Lumia is an ICF Level 2 accredited program, the second-highest tier of accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. The Essentials + Signature Bundle gives you all the educational hours required to apply for your Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

Do I need a coaching background to enroll?

No. Most of our students don't. What matters is that you bring curiosity, presence, and a willingness to practice.

How is this different from the free Spark Session at the booth?

The Spark Session at the IAAP Summit booth is your chance to experience coaching as a client, 20 minutes of focused conversation with a Lumia-trained coach. This is the program where you become the coach. Same craft, different side of the table.

Can I do this alongside a full-time job?

Yes. Live classes run as live evening or Sunday morning sessions. Most of our students work full-time during the program.

How does the IAAP discount work?

Simply sign up through this website for the discount to automatically apply. Already working with an admissions coach? Just ask them for the IAAP discount link. Offer valid through September 30, 2026 for any cohort.

What if I'm not sure which program is right for me?
